CAF

You might have heard of CAF before, but if you haven’t applied already, go do it ASAP!

CAF is a government assistance program in France aimed at aiding students in covering their rental expenses. The assistance can reach up to 250€ per month!

The application process can be quite complicated, but lucky for you, Teddy has gotten his CAF procedure memorized and will take you through it step by step!

Eligibility requirements:

  • A student living in an apartment, a furnished rental, a studio or a flat share, in France, who is paying rent. 

  • Cannot be related to the landlord .

  • Rental agreement must be made in your name.

  • Must be living in the accommodation for at least 4 months in the year in order to apply. 

  • If you are not from the EU or the European economic space, you will also need a residence permit or student visa.
